Today on the podcast I am very lucky to have Aaron Young who is a Business and Personal Development coach with one hell of a life lived, he Landed in Africa around 2007. Firstly South Africa, then Zimbabwe. By some miracle, Aaron ended up an elephant behaviour specialist and was the go-to for relocating lions out of human conflict situations. He tracked, filmed, created and shared their stories for 6 years. I worked on developing tools that would keep elephants out of conflict with humans as well as running vets in emergency response to poaching injuries. He created a model farm. won every battle until the politics changed. And had more guns pointed at him than he can count and this part of my experience alone is full of amazing power and positivity. he won a moral victory on African soil as a foreigner but that didn't last long. Not long after. Aaron was arrested and put through the "system" to try and break him and get him to leave. He fought them and eventually they put me into the real system and was charged. He managed to bribe my way out (Dec 2018) and then fought the charges for almost a year. Aaron bribed all and sundry in that time and was promised a light sentence and fines. We talked about his time in prison, how it changed him, we also talked about how he got into coaching as well as much more.
