Hello, my friends my life warriors! we are 3 days into March my word this is going at a clip, our parents often have plans for their kids our guest on today's episode went against her parent's plans to become an actor in Hollywood, I am delighted to have on Farah Merani is a Muslim actor, filmmaker, educator, and advocate currently based between LA and Toronto. She holds a Master's degree from Central Saint Martin’s College and is a graduate of the Drama Centre London. She has performed in Canada and the US, throughout Europe and in Russia. Some of her TV and film credits include: Recurring roles on the new Quantum Leap on NBC and AppleTV’s SEE with Jason Momoa, along with appearances on Shadowhunters, Station 19, and the recent feature film, Eat Wheaties!, featuring Tony Hale. In addition to being an actor, she has produced dozens of films with her company, Lifeguard Productions, co-founded a non-profit called Women on Screen, and serves as a diversity and inclusion consultant for film and tv with her former co-chair of the ACTRA Toronto Diversity Committee. Presently, she is developing two limited series, as well as writing a children’s book and soon to be animated television show. Farah is represented by GVA Talent for theatrical and managed by World Builder Entertainment.
