Hello, my friends, my life warriors! I do hope you are having a great day finding some shade with a nice cold drink or ice cream. Today on the podcast I was delighted to have on LaDarius Jamison who is published poetry, LaDarius loves storytelling and helping people with his storytelling. He is a self-published author who wrote and published a poetry book named, “the addled soul”. his book covers emotional trauma, depression, and bad relationships, but also covers the positives that he learned in these experiences as well. LaDarius was told at a young age that it was not ok to cry. he was told that it was weak to show emotions and say that your feelings are hurt. He was told that, that stuff didn’t make him look like a man. LaDarius was told that he had to be a player and not take relationships seriously. All of what was told to him was not who he is. Broken in relationships, friendships, and even family members got the best of him. In LaDarius book he covers some of those stories. his goal is to spread love and help others be ok with themselves. We talked about a number of things, why he moved from his old neighbourhood Mississippi to Atlanta, who he got into poetry and so much more.
